Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted on Instagram that production for his newest movie, Jumanji 3, has kicked off in Los Angeles with the cast table read.
“What a massive, fun, heartfelt adventure. Feels emotionally appropriate for our beloved JUMANJI franchise to end on this beautiful grace note of our final film,” he wrote.
The movie will be filmed in the Los Angeles area as well.
Johnson noted that “jaws were hurting” from all the laughter after they got the whole gang back together for round three.
“We all talked about how much we’ve missed this kinda joy and fun. Let’s make a good one,” he continued.
The movie is directed by Jake Kasdan and will be released in theaters across the United States in December 2026 by Sony Pictures.
