Nick Aldis regains NWA Worlds Heavyweight title from Cody

Cody Rhodes’ reign as NWA champion came to an end yesterday as Nick Aldis regained the title during the 70th anniversary show in Nashville, Tennessee.

The two had a two-out-of-three falls match with Aldis winning the first fall, Cody picking up the second fall, and then Aldis won the third fall with an inside cradle.

Cody won the title at All In on September 1 and although it was a great moment, the decision was questioned and many wondered if the title change was done simply because of the historic show rather than Cody actually working with the NWA.

This is the second reign with the NWA Worlds Heavyweight title for Nick Aldis.
