The Street Fighter movie featuring an ensemble cast including WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, is out in theaters nationwide starting from today.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai and distributed by Paramount Pictures, the two-hour movie sees Rhodes portray the character of Guile while Reigns plays Akuma. Others on the cast include Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, David Dastmalchian, Eric Andre, Andrew Schulz, Vidyut Jammwal, Orville Peck, Don Lee, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Jason Momoa.
The movie had a modest $82 million budget and is expected to be a fan favorite among those who remember the video game by Capcom, which was originally released in 1987 followed by an even-more successful Street Fighter II game in 1991.
