The New York Daily News is reporting that Linda Bollea, the ex-wife of Hulk Hogan, was in hospital earlier in the week just days before she got busted for DUI in Malibu.

The 53 year old was in hospital for a coli infection and was on antibiotics, which might have helped spike up the alcohol blood level according to her lawyer.

“She regrets it. She’s a mom, so she’s embarrassed about it,” her lawyer Raymond Rafool told The News. “She’s just thankful it wasn’t worse and thankful nobody got hurt. The police were all very nice. It wasn’t a scene at all. It was anticlimactic.”
