HBO renews Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers for fourth season

Much to the surprise of nobody, HBO has renewed Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers for a fourth season.

Season three, which is currently airing, has broken some records for HBO and is currently pulling over 2 million viewers each episode. In the 20 previous episodes over the first two seasons, the show did over 2 million viewers once and the rest were all in the 1.5 million range.

In a video on Instagram, Johnson thanked the fans for their support and said that the pick-up was simply due to the support from the fans of the show. “Thank you all out there for rockin’ with us and diggin’ our show. Luv and appreciate you and I’m grateful to the bone,” Johnson wrote.

The newest season has moved production from Florida to California to benefit from state tax benefits.
