If you’re a fan of The Rock’s HBO show Ballers, then today is a good day as the 30 minute dramedy series returns to television today with the season two premiere.

The show focuses on Spencer Strasmore, played by Dwayne Johnson, as he tries to find the same success as a financial manager for current players in Miami.  Spencer builds a client base of young athletes and veteran stars but his role in their lives usually goes way beyond money management as he tries to help them live the life of a famous athlete.

Joining Johnson on the show are Rob Corddry, John David Washington, Omar Miller, Donovan W. Carter, Troy Garity, London Brown, and Jazmyn Simon.

The first episode of season one last year did 2.16 million viewers, making it HBO’s most-watched comedy episode since the series finale of “Entourage” in 2011.
