Tony Khan: “Shane’s not here. There’s no Shane. It’s me!”

Kicking off the show last night on Dynamite, AEW President Tony Khan went right to the chase and announced that he had just purchased Ring of Honor to a big pop from the crowd.

Khan, who rarely appears on the shows, said that he was a big fan of Ring of Honor for a very long time so he was very excited about the news.

“Today I signed a deal. I just became the new owner of Ring of Honor,” Khan said. “Shane’s not here. There’s no Shane, it’s me,” he continued, referring to the night when WWE bought WCW and Shane McMahon showed up to spoil his father’s party.
