Tony Khan meets Shane McMahon in Arlington

AEW President Tony Khan has met with Shane McMahon this week in Arlington, Texas, reports the @WrestleTalk X account.

There was even proof of the meeting as the account published a photo of the two in a boardroom, with Khan sitting on one side while McMahon was standing leaning on a chair across him.

McMahon has expressed interest in appearing or doing something for AEW and Khan previously said that he respects Shane both as an executive and as a performer, although he had never met him before. Khan left the door open for Shane and said he would be welcome at any time.

Shane, who doesn’t own any shares from TKO, last appeared on WWE television at WrestleMania 39 as a surprise, unfortunately blowing his knee in an impromptu match with The Miz.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful added that the two discussed the possibility of collaborating together in the future.
