Ospreay and Mone win titles at Double or Nothing

Will Ospreay and Mercedes Mone left Las Vegas with some extra weight in their luggage: the AEW International title and the TBS title respectively.

Ospreay won his first singles title in the company when he defeated Roderick Strong in the opening bout of the pay-per-view. Ospreay, who has been portrayed as one of the company’s biggest stars ever since his arrival, won the match after a Hidden Blade and a Storm Breaker.

In her first match with the company, Mercedes Mone also defeated Willow Nightingale to become the new TBS champion. This was Mone’s first in-ring action since May 2023 when she lost to Nightingale in the inaugural NJPW Strong Women’s title match. She won the match after hitting her Money Maker finisher.

Ospreay, Mone, and Okada, who were three of the biggest free agents in the business before being scooped up by AEW, are now all champions within their first few months with the company.
