Gangrel makes surprise appearance at Double or Nothing to help Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland had some assistance from an old friend last night at Double or Nothing as Gangrel, the former leader of The Brood, made a surprise appearance during the show.

In a bloody, violent barbed wire steel cage match against Malakai Black, Copeland found himself in a one vs three scenario and at one point, the lights started flashing red. A small hole in the ring started appearing and Brody King went to check it out only to be misted in the face.

Gangrel then popped up from the hole and misted Buddy Matthews as the fans went bananas. He hit a right hand on Black and then an impaler on King and Matthews. Copeland recovered and hit a spear on Black and a crossface for the victory.

Grangrel and Copeland then hugged each other in the ring for a reunion 25 years in the making.
