AEW Women’s Tag Team titles unveiled on Dynamite

The important announcement by AEW President Tony Khan last night on Dynamite was the creation of the AEW Women’s Tag Team titles.

Appearing in front of fans, Khan said that 2025 has been a great year for AEW and was proud of the women’s division. He said the inaugural tag team champions will be crowned before the year is over, although Khan did not give any specific information on how or when they will be crowned.

Renee Paquette, who was at ringside, then unveiled the AEW Women’s Tag Team titles which are similar in design to the men’s tag team titles.

The titles have been in the pipeline for quite some time and Khan has said in the past that he was waiting for the right moment to introduce them.
