John Cena announces the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine final opponent

WWE yesterday announced the Last Time Is Now tournament which will determine who will be John Cena’s final opponent.

The announcement came via a video narrated by John Cena himself, who said that the most-asked question for the past year has been who will be his final opponent. He said that his answer is always the same…he wanted someone to seize the opportunity, the same one he was given on his first day.

So on November 10, live from Raw in Boston, Massachusetts, a 16-man tournament with competitors from Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and even maybe some who don’t even work in WWE, will kick off for the coveted spot to face him next month.

Whoever the winner will be, “is not going to be hand picked, but is going to be hard-earned,” Cena said.

John Cena’s final match will be on Saturday, December 13 live from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC as part of Saturday Night’s Main Event.
