Jade Cargill wins the WWE Women’s title from Tiffany Stratton

Jade Cargill won her first singles gold in WWE yesterday on Saturday Night’s Main Event, dethroning Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s championship.

Cargill made it quick too, getting rid of Stratton in just five and a half minutes on the clock, finishing her off with her Jaded finisher for the three count.

The win ended Stratton’s impressive 302 day reign as champion, a title which she won on January 3 of this year on an episode of Smackdown after she cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase on her ex-friend Nia Jax.

Cargill joined WWE in late 2023 and came with a lot of hype after a run in AEW and officially made her in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble in January 2024. She won the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles with Bianca Belair that same year.
