Dwayne Johnson welcomes Ronda Rousey to Fast & Furious 7 team

Former WWE champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson somewhat confirmed his involvement in Fast & Furious 7 in a tweet today, welcoming UFC champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey to the team.

Johnson posted a photo of Rousey posing with the old WWE Undisputed title which had The Rock’s nameplate saying, “She rocks my Championship belt better than me!” He then announced that Rousey would be joining him in the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Rousey – who is still in talks over her role and not officially announced yet – said she’s trying her best to make it work and said she hoped to meet him in Atlanta where production will be taking place.

Johnson’s involvement in F&F 7 was still in the air considering the movie starts filming soon and he is busy doing Hercules at the moment.
