WWE reaches 20 million unique viewers in a single week

In a press release issued yesterday, WWE claimed that they reached a record 20 million unique viewers in a single week last week for their RAW, Smackdown, Main Event, Total Divas, and the WrestleMania 29 special on NBC.

The numbers – provided by Nielsen who are in charge of the ratings – include any individual who tuned in any of the show for a minimum of six minutes. Unique means that if a fan watched all five shows, he’s only counted as one rather than 5.

WWE reached an average of 11 million viewers last week for all their shows including replays.

Variety also had an article about the numbers which you can read at http://bit.ly/16FEi7Z.
