The Rock says his daughter is the youngest-ever signee in WWE history

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave props to his daughter for working her ass off while trying to achieve her dream of becoming a WWE Superstar.

“She signed her contract with the WWE and it just blows my mind. First of all, what an honor that my daughter wants to follow in my footsteps,” Johnson told Fallon. “More importantly, follow in my footsteps sounds cliche. She actually wants to create and blaze her own path, which is just so important.”

The former WWE champion revealed that his daughter Simone is the youngest signee ever in the history of WWE and penned her first contract two years ago at the age of 16.

“At 16 – by the way, she’s 18 now – at 16, she was working her ass off quietly under the radar, in the ring, getting thrown around, you know, and all the bumps and bruises that come with pro wrestling. She hung in there, and I’m very, very proud of her,” the proud parent continued.

Simone Johnson was unveiled as a WWE developmental talent in February of this year.
