WWE champion Brock Lesnar to appear on Smackdown this Friday

Despite being WWE champion on the Raw brand, Brock Lesnar is still considered to be a “free agent” in the WWE Universe and will be appearing on Smackdown this coming Friday.

Closing last night’s show while watching Lashley win, Brock told Kevin Patrick that he would see Roman Reigns this Friday. Reigns tested positive for COVID-19 and had to pull out of the scheduled match between the two at Day 1.

In a tweet on Saturday, Reigns said he got coronavirus on the day and the new CDC guidelines suggest only five days of quarantine. With day one of quarantine starting on Sunday, Reigns would be able to appear, assuming he tests negative, on Friday since day five of quarantine would be Thursday.

Lesnar wished Roman well during Raw, complete with a wink, and took a shot at Reigns by telling the South Carolina fans to acknowledge him. Heyman also had a shot at his former client, saying in the week that Reigns got rid of him, he caught corona.
