WWE blocks ESPN reporter’s credential at WrestleMania 42

ESPN reporter Andreas Hale yesterday wrote that he was denied his media credentials for WrestleMania and was not going to cover the show for ESPN.

Hale, who gained popularity with the Internet Wrestling Community after he graded the first ESPN PLE, WrestlePalooza, a C- on the official ESPN website, also said that WWE blocked his access for the show.

“Neither I nor ESPN has been told why,” he wrote. “You can speculate on the reasons, but if you want answers, ask WWE. Let me know what they tell you.”

Hale just recently covered the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE for ESPN and has been critical of the company in the past on social media, something which eventually came back to bite him.

ESPN yesterday gave WrestleMania an incredible amount of coverage throughout the day and that continues today with WrestleMania Sunday.
