WrestleMania 31 week starts today

It’s an exciting week if you’re a WWE fan however if you’re a Superstar or Diva or are just part of the company, this week will be a very, very busy one with long working hours and not much sleep.

WrestleMania week officially kicks off today with everyone in Los Angeles, California for tonight’s Monday Night Raw live show. Some matches for Smackdown will also be taped tonight with other footage from Axxess and other events used to make up the final show which will air on Thursday night.

All the talent will be arriving in the Bay Area tomorrow morning while the road crew drives away after the STAPLES Center is dismantled. Hundreds of workers have been at the Levi’s Stadiums in Santa Clara for a few days already beginning the construction of the WrestleMania 31 set and converting the stadium for WWE use.

A lot of Superstars and Divas will have several media appearances throughout the week as well as appearing in Bay Area communities to promote the Be A Star and reading campaigns as well as help out the local communities, visiting hospitals, and more.

On Thursday, Axxess kicks off with one session, followed by another session on Friday, three sessions on Saturday, and one session on Sunday. NXT will have a show on Friday night and then the Hall of Fame will take place on Saturday night.

Sunday is the busiest day of them all with WrestleMania, four hours of live pay-per-view plus two hours before for the pre-show for a total of six hours of continuous live television. After the annual WrestleMania after-party, everyone is back to bed to get ready for Monday Night Raw, an important show that kicks off a “new season” so to speak.
