Vince McMahon resigns as Chairman of TKO Group Holdings

Vince McMahon has officially resigned as Chairman of TKO Group Holdings and is no longer associated with the company or WWE.

The news was announced by WWE President Nick Khan in an e-mail sent to WWE employees yesterday afternoon following the news of the lawsuit brought forward by Janel Grant where she accused McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

“I wanted to inform you that Vince McMahon has tendered his resignation from his positions as TKO Executive Chairman and on the TKO Board of Directors. He will no longer have a role with TKO Group Holdings or WWE,” the e-mail read.

McMahon was made Chairman of the TKO Board of Directors after he gave up control of WWE and merged with Endeavor this past September.

He still owns shares in the company but no longer has any say whatsoever and his shares do not include any special voting power as he previously had in WWE.
