UFC looking to develop land in Las Vegas with WWE in mind as well

The Las Vegas Review-Journal has a story about the UFC building more structures on its 70 acres of land in Las Vegas which would also include an expansion specifically for WWE.

The UFC HQ, Performance Institute, and the Meta Apex facilities occupy around 35 acres of the 70, and now, the company is looking at developing the remaining acres.

“We’re currently in the process of developing a master plan for this facility, which will include hopefully a lot of things, including a hotel, expansion with our TKO partner WWE, maybe additional collaborations with other sports and entertainment organizations here in Las Vegas,” UFC senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Lawrence Epstein said Monday.

There were rumors in the past that TKO was looking at moving the WWE Performance Center from Orlando to Las Vegas.

The UFC recently completed an upgrade to their Meta Apex facility, with 1,300 seats available for events.
