The entrants for the Royal Rumble increased by three more after last night’s Smackdown with two men and one women putting throwing their hat in for the match.

Rey Mysterio and Intercontinental champion Gunther have both declared that they will be part of the match, becoming the eighth and ninth Superstars announced. They join Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, Ricochet, Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin.

Former NXT Women’s champion Raquel Rodriguez also announced her intention to join the women’s match and is now in the match along with Liv Morgan, Candice LaRae, and Rhea Ripley.

In total, there are 13 out of 60 Superstars announced for both matches and two weeks to go. The Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, January 28.
