Two spots for the 2016 Royal Rumble taken

Entrants to the 2016 Royal Rumble will be slowly revealed over the course of the next few weeks during Raw and Smackdown as the road to WrestleMania kicks off.

So far, two WWE Superstars have officially put their names in for the match, these being the Big Show and Curtis Axel, leaving 28 other open spots. Axel was supposed to be a part of last year’s Rumble entering at number 6 however he never made it to the match as he was attacked by Erick Rowan before entering. Axel went on for months saying he never got eliminated from the Rumble.

The 2016 Royal Rumble will take place at the Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida, on January 24. The winner of the 30-man over-the-top rope Rumble match will advance to the main event of WrestleMania 32 in the WWE World Heavyweight title match.
