Two number one contenders’ matches on NXT live tonight on USA Network

NXT’s momentum is certainly on the up and WWE is looking to make NXT #1 in ratings again for the third week in a row with tonight’s episode.

Six matches have been announced for the show later tonight, headlined by NXT champion Trick Williams vs Shawn Spears in a non-title match. Tony D’Angelo will defend his NXT Heritage Cup against Nathan Frazer and new number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team titles will be determined in a tag team turmoil match. Sol Ruca battles Arianna Grace in a number one contender’s match as well, this time for the NXT Women’s North American title, Wes Lee takes on Joe Coffey, and Tavion Heights battles Damon Kemp.

Last week’s NXT beat Dynamite in both viewership and 18-49 demo.
