A TNA World title match will take place on next week’s episode of NXT on The CW with new champion Trick Williams making his first title defense against Mike Santana.

Santana appeared at NXT Battleground on Sunday and made it clear that he was gunning for the TNA champion whoever that might be after the show.

The former AEW star wrestled his first match in NXT last night, defeating Tavion Heights.

Two more matches were also revealed for next week, including Myles Borne vs Charlie Dempsey in a rounds match where if Borne wins, he can leave the No Quarter Catch Crew, and a six-man tag match with Andre Chase, Uriah Connors, and Kale Dixon vs DarkState.
