Third women’s match added to Elimination Chamber 2022

A third women’s match has been added to the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Saudi Arabia featuring the team of Ronda Rousey and Naomi taking on Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville.

The angle was shot after an excellent main event on Smackdown last night where Flair beat Naomi to retain the Smackdown Women’s title in a hard fought match. Sonya Deville, who earlier tried to suspend Rousey but was shot down by Vince McMahon, taunted Naomi following her loss and Naomi had enough and beat up on Deville.

Flair returned to the ring to help Naomi and the two took her down. At that point, Ronda’s music hit to a thunderous pop from the crowd and Rousey sprinted to the ring to clean house. She was about to put Deville in another armbar but Flair pulled her out. Naomi and Ronda then hugged in the ring as the show faded to black.

After the show was over, WWE’s social media announced the tag team match which now brings the total number of women matches in Jeddah to three and the total number of women performers on the show to 12, which both are a record for a show in Saudi Arabia.
