The Fight Pit match to take place next week on NXT

The Fight Pit match between Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher has been rescheduled to take place next week.

The match was originally set to take place on the New Year’s Evil show last week but it was pulled from the show after Timothy Thatcher was not cleared to compete due to an injury. Thatcher has got the green light to return to the squared circle and WWE wasted no time in rebooking the match.

This is the second time that the Fight Pit match will be featured on NXT television. The first one was held in May of last year, also involving Thatcher as he took on Matt Riddle with Kurt Angle as the special guest referee. That was Riddle’s last match in NXT.
