Stratus vs Banks? Trish is certainly interested!

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus appeared on The Bump on the WWE Network today and did not slam the door shut on the idea of returning to the ring again.

Trish talked about how she loves and respects Sasha Banks after the topic came up about the former Raw Women’s champion who recently mentioned Trish as one of her dream opponents.

“I love and respect Sasha so much, I love her in-ring work. Would I love to taste that? Yes, I would,” Trish said.

The former multi-time WWE Women’s champ mentioned that people have been buzzing about Trish vs Sasha since they had a short encounter at the Royal Rumble a couple of years ago.

“That was what began the buzz, that’s been two years straight of people just buzzing about it and dreaming and hoping. As a wrestling fan do I think this is intriguing? Absolutely. I think it’s a pretty awesome idea to be honest,” Trish continued, before stopping from giving away too much.

“That’s all I’ve got to say about that guys,” she concluded.

Stratus last stepped in the ring at last year’s SummerSlam where she wrestled Charlotte Flair in her hometown of Toronto.
