Stephanie McMahon to induct Trish Stratus into the WWE Hall of Fame

Stephanie McMahon will be the one inducting former seven time Women’s champion Trish Stratus into the WWE Hall of Fame this coming Saturday in Madison Square Garden.

“I’d be honored if @StephMcMahon would be a part of the biggest nite of my career & inducts me into @WWE #HOF, Steph will u do me the honor?” Trish wrote on her Twitter account yesterday.

Stephanie replied on Twitter saying, “Yes!!! It would be my pleasure to induct one of the greatest Divas of all time in to the #WWEHOF #overwhelmed #honored.”

The tweet however vanished from Stephanie McMahon’s timeline on Twitter and can only be seen if you use Twitter’s search feature for part of the quote.

The two enjoyed a big rivalry during the WWE Attitude Era including sharing one of the best backstage segments when Steph caught Trish being “coached” by Triple H who were both in a rather compromising position.

Last week after an interview with Wrestling News Live,  Trish expressed her desire off the air that her longtime rival Lita would be the one inducting her in the Hall of Fame.
