Smackdown to air on FS1 next week due to MLB World Series on FOX

Smackdown will be pre-empted on FOX next week with the show airing on FOX Sports 1 instead due to game three of the World Series. This is only for next week and the show will return to FOX the following week.

With all the rights for the MLB World Series owned by FOX, it was inevitable that Smackdown would be pre-empted. WWE shows have not been pre-empted on television for several years after NBCUniversal decided to move their dog show competition from USA Network not to clash with Raw.

AEW and NXT will also have a very tough week next week as one of the games will air head-to-head with both shows.
