Smackdown rating for 01/01/2019

Smackdown beat Raw in the ratings for the second week in a row, pulling in 2,091,000 viewers for the New Year’s Day show, up 187,000 viewers from the Christmas Day episode. With a lot of college football competition, the show was #10 in the top 50 cable chart among the 18-49 demographic and #9 in overall viewership for the night. This was the first-time ever that Smackdown beat Raw in the ratings twice back-to-back. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
