Smackdown 1000 to get “Rated-R”

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Edge will be appearing on the Smackdown 1000 episode which will take place on October 16.

Edge is the second WWE legend, along with The Undertaker, who has so far been confirmed to be appearing during this milestone episode. Many other legends and Hall of Famers will be part of the broadcast.

The former WWE champion who retired in 2012 was an integral part of the blue brand for many, many years. He last appeared on the show during the 900th episode of Smackdown in November 2016 where he hosted a special edition of The Cutting Edge with the men’s Smackdown Survivor Series team members.

Smackdown 1000 will emanate from the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
