Shinsuke Nakamura bit on the leg by dog forcing him off shows

Shinsuke Nakamura’s planned match against Jeff Hardy on Smackdown last night was canceled due to an injury the former NXT champion suffered.

The injury is legit and PWInsider.com is reporting that Nakamura was bit by a police dog backstage on Monday during a non-televised live event. WWE medical personnel did not clear Nakamura to wrestle on Monday or yesterday so the match was canceled.

Instead, Jeff Hardy had a U.S. title open challenge which was answered by Eric Young of SAnitY. The match eventually changed to a six-man tag match after Wolfe and Dain interfered and The Usos evened the odds.
