Iyo Sky and Shinsuke Nakamura send flowers to Hiroshi Tanahashi for retirement match

Iyo Sky and Shinsuke Nakamura sent flowers to Hiroshi Tanahashi for his retirement match. The flowers were displayed in several social media posts during the day.

Tanahashi actually posted the flower arrangement by Nakamura, which had the words, “26 years of hard work, thank you!!” on his X account. Tanahashi replied by also writing “Thank you” in the post.

Sky wrote on X that he gave wonderful influence to a tremendous number of pro wrestlers, and she is one of those.

The title of “Etsujo” (逸女) bestowed upon me by Issai during our discussion 11 years ago is a treasure for my lifetime,” Sky said, adding that she would be cheering on The Ace from America.

Nakamura is a previous opponent of Tanahashi and the two even had a match at Wrestle Kingdom back in 2014.

Several WWE Superstars who worked with Tanahashi in the past also paid tribute to him on socials.
