Samoa Joe seen at WWE PC, interest to bring him back to NXT

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling is reporting that according to several within NXT, they are interested in bringing Samoa Joe back to the black and gold brand.

Joe was one of the surprise cuts made in April after WrestleMania just days after he called the two-night pay-per-view. The former NXT champion is still under a 90-day no-compete clause.

Sapp also adds that Joe was briefly at the WWE Performance Center this week although it was not reported why he visited.

Joe had a successful career in NXT, winning the title NXT title twice. He moved up to the main roster in January 2017 but was not able to replicate the same success from NXT. He has not wrestled since February 2020 due to concussion-related issues and was added to the Raw commentary team until he was let go.
