Samoa Joe will be off AEW television for a while as he will be busy filming the third season of the Peacock series Twisted Metal.

Production on the series, where Joe portrays the character of Sweet Tooth, commences in mid-June and is expected to wrap up in late August.

Joe announced his temporary departure during the Collision episode yesterday in a backstage segment, where he told fellow members of The Opps that Hollywood “came calling” and advised them to keep things going while he was out.
