Samoa Joe has been added to the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn special event on the night before SummerSlam in a match against Baron Corbin.

Joe made his NXT debut at the previous Takeover event at Full Sail University this past May, showing up after the main event confronting the then NXT champion Kevin Owens.

This is the fifth match on the NXT Takeover: Brooklyn card, an event which will run for two hours. WWE will tape an episode of NXT television right after the show goes off the air at the Barclays Center so fans will be in the arena for at least three hours.
