Roman Reigns accepts Lesnar’s challenge, gets confronted by Demon Balor

Roman Reigns has accepted Brock Lesnar’s challenge for the Universal title and said that he would take him on after he smashes Finn Balor at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Reigns was confronted by Demon Balor at the conclusion of the show, the first time that Balor transformed into his alter ego since 2019.

Things didn’t go smooth for the Universal champion during the show as Lesnar dropped a bombshell in the opening segment after he interrupted The Bloodline. Lesnar asked Heyman why he didn’t tell Reigns that he would be at SummerSlam, resulting in FOX muting the show for several seconds after “You f*cked up” chants from the fans directed at Heyman.

After Reigns and The Usos abandoned Heyman, Lesnar gave Heyman five seconds to accept the challenge on behalf of Reigns but he never did so Lesnar picked him up for an F5. Reigns returned to save his special counsel but The Usos suffered some damage after Lesnar nearly took their heads off their shoulder with a vicious double clothesline and then took them to suplex city.
