Rhea Ripley coming to Monday Night Raw

Former NXT Women’s champion Rhea Ripley finally has found herself a new home on the main roster and will be moving to Monday Night Raw. A “coming soon” vignette aired on the USA Network broadcast last night hyping her arrival.

Apart from an appearance at the Royal Rumble where she was in the final two and eventually beat by Bianca Belair, Ripley has been absent from television since the January 6 episode of NXT where she had her last match for NXT, putting over Raquel Gonzalez in a last woman standing match.

The Australian Superstar comes with high expectations, especially from Triple H, who he sees Ripley as one of the main women on the roster for years to come.

She is the first-ever NXT UK Women’s champion and after moving to the NXT brand in the United States, she beat Shayna Baszler to win the NXT Women’s title in December 2019. She also became the first NXT Superstar to defend an NXT title at WrestleMania, losing the strap to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 36.
