Rhea Ripley recovering from slight meniscus tear

Rhea Ripley revealed that she’s recovering from a torn meniscus, which is the reason why she has not appeared on WWE television for quite a while now.

Appearing at a Power Slap event in Las Vegas, Ripley told Nina Marie Daniele why she’s not wrestling at the moment.

“I hurt my knee, I got like a slight tear in my meniscus, so, it’s just healing, it’s getting there, it’s getting stronger,” Ripley told her.

Asked what’s the recover time, Ripley said that she’s been out of action for over a month now, but did not directly answer the question, saying it’s still undecided. She noted that she still can’t bend her knee properly.

Ripley last wrestled on June 3 at a non-televised live event in Portugal and was last on television on the June 5 episode of Smackdown. She is currently the WWE Women’s champion.
