Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky win the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles on Raw

The popular tag team of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky are now WWE Women’s Tag Team champions after they defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane in the opening match of last night’s Raw from Brooklyn.

The crowd exploded after Ripley delivered the Riptide on Asuka and Sky hit the moonsault, with Ripley covering the former multi-time champ for the pinfall victory.

The victory ended the Kabuki Warriors’ 56-day reign as champions, winning them from Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair in November on Raw.

This is the first reign for the team affectionately known as Rhiyo, but it’s Sky’s third time with the title and Ripley’s second.
