Priest vs Black ambulance match announced for first Smackdown of 2026

The main event of the first three-hour Smackdown of 2026 next week will be an ambulance match featuring Damian Priest vs Aleister Black.

The seemingly never-ending feud have been going on for over four months but it looks like it will climax at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo.

Smackdown will kick off the new year with an extra hour for the foreseeable future and with Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett on the commentary table instead of Corey Graves and Michael Cole.

Two other matches for next week’s show were also advertised, with Jade Cargill vs Michin in a non-title match and an eight-woman tag match with Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley vs Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
