Piper Niven crashes Chelsea Green’s plans, declares herself as new partner

It looks like Chelsea Green has found her new tag team partner, but not because she chose her!

Green was on the hunt to audition for a new partner after Sonya Deville got injured, leaving her and the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles in limbo.

In a backstage segment on Raw, Green argued with Adam Pearce after Pearce told her that she might have to surrender the titles. In came Piper Niven who grabbed one of the titles from Green and announced herself as Green’s tag team partner.

Green suggested to e-mail her to audition for the role but Niven didn’t want to hear any of it and made herself the new tag team champion and Green’s partner.

The Scot has been absent from WWE television since May.
