Chelsea Green given 30 days by Nick Aldis to get cleared and defend the WWE Women’s title

Chelsea Green cut the promo of her career last night on Smackdown in a bid to keep the WWE Women’s title despite suffering from a broken orbital bone.

Smackdown GM Nick Aldis informed Green that due to her injury and medical not clearing her, she had to surrender the title. Green explained all the hardships from the past decade and how all the injuries and setbacks she suffered were eventually going to be worth it once she won the big one.

Green told Aldis that of all people, he should know how this feels as he was a champion and his wife was a champion as well.

The champ told Aldis that until someone took the title off of her, it remains hers, with fans starting a “Yes!” chant. But then she handed over the title to boos, and started walking to the back, when Aldis told her to stop.

Aldis said that as the General Manager of Smackdown, he was doing the right thing, but as Nick Aldis the person, he didn’t give a crap about what WWE medical thought.

That brought Green back to the ring, as Aldis gave her 30 days to come up with a face mask or whatever is necessary to get cleared to compete and defend the title.
