New broadcast teams for Raw and Smackdown unveiled

The new era of WWE next week will usher in new broadcast teams for both Raw and Smackdown.

Raw’s newest announce team will be headed up by Vic Joseph who will be helped by former American football offensive tackle player Brennan Williams, otherwise known as Dio Maddin. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler rejoins the team as analyst.

Smackdown will have the old Raw team, with Michael Cole handling play-by-play along with Corey Graves as the analyst and Renee Young labeled as special contributor.

NXT’s team remains the same with Mauro Ranallo leading the broadcast booth with Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness as analysts.

The change for Raw and Smackdown was expected as WWE will be separating both brands completely once again. Graves will stop pulling double duty, having been part of the Raw and Smackdown commentary team for the past few years.
