New 205 Live General Manager to be appointed next week

WWE will be appointing a General Manager for 205 Live next week and the first order of business will be addressing the status of the WWE Cruiserweight title.

Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan announced yesterday that the Cruiserweight title is vacant after it was abdicated by Enzo Amore. Bryan added that Amore would no longer be part of 205 Live.

Cedric Alexander was the number one contender for the Cruiserweight title and his title match was supposed to be this Sunday at the Royal Rumble. Due to the release of Amore, the title match has been scrapped off the Rumble card and things will get rebooted on Tuesday.
