MVP signs new multi-year deal with WWE

MVP, who since returning at the Royal Rumble has become one of the MVPs – pun intended – on the roster, has signed a multi-year deal with the company.

In a post on social media, MVP said that he’s drinking “the good stuff” after he came to terms with WWE on a new contract. “MVP is in #thehurtbusiness for the foreseeable future! NOW… it’s official,” he wrote.

MVP was one of the surprise entrants at the Royal Rumble and was only supposed to make a few appearances before transitioning to a backstage role as a producer. He eventually got moved to in front of cameras again and is now the leader of The Hurt Business with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin…and who knows, with more to come.

This is the 46-year-old’s second stint with WWE, having previously worked for the promotion between 2005 and 2010.
