Third time the charm? Minneapolis rumored for WrestleMania host city in 2025

Rumors are running rampant that the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota is a leading candidate to host WrestleMania 41 in 2025.

Patrick Kessler, Special Contributor for WCCO-TV/CBS Minneapolis wrote in a tweet that his sources said that Minneapolis is one of the finalists trying to get the show of shows to the city. The city was already a candidate to host WrestleMania 33 and prepared a bid to host WrestleMania 36 as well but 33 went to Orlando and 36 originally went to Tampa.

The $1 billion enclosed U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, which hosts over 70,000 fans, would be the location where WrestleMania would take place.

Minneapolis has never hosted WrestleMania before and it would be the fist time in the state of Minnesota as well.
