Mia Yim to make NXT non-televised live event debut tomorrow

Mia Yim, the Mae Young Classic competitor who was quietly signed to a WWE deal, will be making her NXT debut this weekend.

The 29-year-old is a 9-year ring veteran and has wrestled for several promotions including Combat Zone Wrestling, Shimmer, Full Impact, and Impact Wrestling where she spent nearly four years wrestling under the ring name Jade. She is a former Knockouts champion as well.

Yim also wrestled in last year’s MYC tournament and was defeated by Shayna Baszler in the round of 16. This year, she went through her rival Allysin Kay in the round of 32 and will be wrestling Kaitlyn in the round of 16 in this year’s tournament.

Her NXT debut will be tomorrow at the non-televised live event in Fort Pierce, Florida.
