Jon Stewart announced as the host of SummerSlam

Jon Stewart, who hosted The Daily Show for the past 16 years, has been announced as the host of SummerSlam this coming Sunday, with Stewart making his WWE return after 5 months.

This past March, Stewart appeared on Monday Night Raw to face off with Seth Rollins after Rollins showed up on his show and challenged him to appear on Monday Night Raw. Rollins recently appeared on the show again during one of Stewart’s final few days on The Daily Show.

Just like the other celebrity at SummerSlam, Stephen Amell, Stewart is a long-time WWE fan.
